On Relaxing

So everyone gets a day off. They happen and they're nice. So when you get a day off, your first thought is to kick back and take a nap, right?

WRONG.

Remember, every time you nap, or kick back to do nothing, that's all you are accomplishing.

So on your day off, get your butt up and do something.

  2. Yeah I hate it when I have a day off so I sleep in until about midday. Then I kick myself for wasting my day off :S

  3. It depends what you do, also napping can be healthy. Find the best for your body and constitution.

  4. I generally oscillate between wanting to do nothing and relax and accomplishing something. Eventually I get frustrated deciding what to do. Listening to music usually calms me down though.

  10. I fully agree with this. I plan all my afterwork activities on days off and rarely sit down to take breaks.
